its my last night!!!

FINALLY AH!!!!!!!!!

i had been waiting and waiting lohz!!!

finally its my 3 rest days!!

its been a long time since i'll be off for 3 consecutive days...
i am really tired...
and i seriously need a break...

slept at abt 9 am this morning...
and i was wide awake by 3...
i dun know why....
dun seem to be able to sleep that much nowadays...
esp when sister keep putting me on day shifts (AMs or PMs)
this is my first round of nights ever since i am back from my leave...
which was abt 2 weeks ago...

still pretty used to the night shift routine...
not so tired anymore...
maybe bcoz my mood is good sia...

today is Vday...
but i still gotta work...
damn sianz...

but hubbie is really nice...
came and fetch me from home for dinner...
initially we wanna head to Marina Square as i told him i wanna buy a new pair of crocs shoes...
bcoz my paitent VOMITED RIGHT INTO MY SHOES!!!

well...
guess i didnt blog abt this yet...
and since i am talking abt this,
why not let me narrate the story once again...

its was my first night...
and i was triaging outside with veron mummy...
its was abt 3 plus i guess...
i triaged this 1yr plus child for cough and vomiting...

she didnt have that 'i-wanna-vomit-now' kinda look...
so i was like putting on my oxygen probe and bp cuff....
and all of a sudden, she juz "BLEAH"!!!!

wooo!!!
great!!!

my shoes was juz right on the spot where she vomited on...
and it landed right onto my foot (not my shoe hor!!!its my foot!!!)
the warm milky vomitus juz seep thru the gap into my shoes...
and eventually went in between my toes!!!

WELL DONE!!!

i was fucking pissed...
but i hold it there!!!

"nvm nvm..she's sick..."
i told myself...

i moved myself away abt half a metre from the kid...
worried that she might puke and might kena me again...

then all of a sudden,
she vomited again!!!
and its that kinda projectile vomiting...
(a kind of forceful vomiting when the vomitus juz "shoot" out...)
and again...
it kena my foot for the 2nd time...

i was really damn pissed...
at the same time...
i was trying to calm myself and trying my very very very best to calm the mom and the child down too...
(the child was crying her head off!!! and the mother was frantically trying to clean the vomitus off her poor daughter...)

well... by the time i finish triaging the child...
i had a whole foot + shoe full of milky warm vomitus...
with milk curds some more...

i mean...
thankz..but i dun think my foot needs any milk bath for the moment...

in the end, i send her in as a "9" case...
bcoz she's running a high fever...
but at the same time, i dun want her to mess up my waiting area too...

after settling that case...
i limp my way to the toilet...

every step i took,
i could feel milk "squirting" out from the side of my foot...

its really disgusting....

anyway, hubbie saw me limping into the toilet...
hahahaha...
(he was there to send us supper...)

so now i need a brand new pair of working shoes...
i had one that i bought for like $5.50...
but its juz for urgent use...
i really need a proper pair of working shoes...
u know how much nurses have to be on our feet...

so today we were suppose to go to the crocs outlet to source for my shoes...

but as we were exiting from CTE to orchard,
the jam was like driving us crazy...
so i suggested why dun we juz go novena...
its not so crowded...
and definitely nearer to CE...
so easy to come work too....

so he took a detour and we reached novena in like 5 mins time....
my hubbie is a clever boy...
hahaha...

so we had sakae...
a damn filling meal...

and we went walking around a lil...
accompany him see his fishes...
then go buy stocking for jaime...
hahaha...
and some other stuff...

thou its juz a simple evening...
but we really did njoy ourselves...
we did talk quite abit...
and i am happy...

we were like a sweet lil couple...
playing and teasing each other...
hahaha...

anyway, i had already planned wat dishes to cook on the 19th...

its out 8th Anniversary...

really looking forward...
but it will be a simple outing as both of us will be working too...

but i gonna make some simple dish...
then maybe have an outdoor dinner or something...
i dun know...
hahaha...

a good way to save money and still be romantic sia!!!
