yest night, CE was like a mad house!!!

the moment i start working...
its juz practical after practical...

initially, everything seems oki...

till i helped Dr Benny to do one foreign body(FB) removal under ketamine...
He manage to remove the FB in juz 5 sec after the kido was down...

however...

the child's saturation neber pick up at all...
and there were 2 episode that he desat still 75% only lohz!!!

and only after i blust him with 100% oxygen then his sats went back to 100%!!

he keep having this croupy croupy noise from his upper airway...
and breath-holding episodes lohz!!!

he is abt 1 yr plus, but his respiration rate was max abt 20bpm only lohz!!
u can imagine how "breath-holding" he is...
hahahaha...

then when Benny ausculate his lungs, his breathing appeared to be bery shallow!!

kaoz!!!

i dun wanna conscious patient till need to intubate hor!!!

neber in the history of CE that we need to intubate patient bcoz of ketamine sedation!!!

so me, doris and croire was struggling inside the practical room!!
trying to get the kid to mantain his own airway!!

kaoz!!

and for this, we were stuck inside for a good 20-30 mins!!
and outside in the obs area,
its like wet market lidat lohz...
with one more fitting child in obs 2 and a paracet overdose in obs 1 at the same time!!

Veron mummy was the supervisor yest night...
and she was like "WAT THE HELL!!"

hahahaha...

eventually,
we found that the Kido desat bcoz he got a FULL STOMACH!!!
even though we fasted him for a good 4 hrs!!!
and he was vomiting like nobody's business!!!
kaoz!!
i bet he's gonna have aspiration pneumonia!!

poor little thingy...

then later into the night...
we had a resus...

apparently the child took Ecstasy!!
and come in with dystonia (a neurological movement disorder in which sustained muscle contractions cause twisting and repetitive movements or abnormal postures), breathlessness, hypertension and tachycardia!!!

kaoz!!!

then some more, yest night senior doc was Her Majesty- Dr Tham lohz!!!

kaoz!!!

u can imagine she will order all the treatment available under the sun for the paitent...
but in the end we only set a plug, took some bld, did ECG, put up drip lidat only nahz...

and from the patient's friend...
there were 4 other kids that took the drugs too!!!
and Dr. Tham actually order them to bring the rest of the 4 kidos in!!!

alrite..
and her standard disposition of patient will be at least a HighD...
so i really pity all the HighD nurses...
they have 4 HD patients coming at almost the same time...
hahaha...

but in the end only 3 came...
the other 2 dun know die where liao...

haiz...

nowadays..the kids really dun know thinking abt wat man!!
can go and take Ecstasy somemore!!!

really really neber die b4 lohz!!!

anyway, while we were doing the resus,
there was another ? intersup baby in the obs area...
and we gonna set plug, take bld, AXR, prepare for ultrasound etc etc...
haiz..
really busy until!!!

then finally me and veron mummy managed to go for our break...
haiz...

we were chatting and talking...
and i was surfing thru my facebook...
then suddenly mummy ask me...

"你和 WeiLi 是不是 LESBIAN huh??"

wah kaoz!!!

i tell u ah!!!

i laugh until no tomolo!!!
hahahahaahaha....

of course not nahz!!!

u thnk i juz go around liking ppl of the same sex mehz!!
siao!!!

but i dun know why i really love her..
but not that kinda BGR kinda love nahz...

maybe bcoz i can understand wat she is going thru...
and wat she needed now is someone who is able to stay beside her...
to give her the support that she need...
and someone to provide some love to fill up that empty space in her heart...

i may not fit the above criteria totally...
but i am giving her all that i could give...
all that concern, care, support and love...
juz like how she provide me with all these when i most needed it...

i think we are juz ppl riding in the same boat...
thru that huge ocean, full of unknown...
suffering the same problem...
haiz...

but i think this will make ppl stronger..
isnt it??

anyway, i am juz so tired now..
